Description:

This swap is for all those who want to meet new friends and to find a new, long-lasting penpal who you can continue to write to each other after this swap is over. Please do NOT join this swap if you aren't looking for a lasting penpal.

For this swap, you will be sending 1 LETTER, 1 STORE-BOUGHT TOURIST postcard and 1-2 surprises to 2 PARTNERS. Now let me explain the requirements:

  • The letter should be handwritten, at least one page, front and back (standard notebook size paper). Please make it legible, you can decorate it as you wish or use nice stationaries. It will be an introduction type letter, where you can tell your partner about you, your life, where you live and anything you’d like to tell.

  • The postcard must be a single or multiple view of where you live, so that your partner can get an idea. It must be STORE-BOUGHT, no hand made or AD cards. Please send it UNWRITTEN.

  • The SURPRISE! Please make it between 1 - 2 if possible, anything flat and light-weight. This is according to the sender, but you can get ideas from your partner’s profile. You can send tea bag, ticket, stamps, bank note, coins, stickers, a map of your city, recipe, another postcard or something nice!

  • Minimum requirement to join is 4.97.

  • Full and detailed profile is a must, I will be checking profiles so I reserve the rights to ban anyone from joining the swap.

  • I cannot control if your partner will write you back, but please join with good intentions of looking for a long lasting penpal friend.

  • I do not assign partners; it’s automatically assigned by the system. So no complains please!

How to rate:

  • Rate 5 if the letter, postcard and at least 1 surprise is received, heart is up to the receiver.

  • Rate 3 if what you received does not meet with this swap requirement

  • Rate 1 if you did not receive anything. (Before giving 1, please check with your partner first, sometimes item may get lost in the way.)

I just have a question about the postcard bit...where I'm from is very very small and we don't have postcards are we able to improvise and send a post card from somewhere near where we live?

VivaLaDiane 04/19/2014 #

Just a note that @ciera0492 is past due on several swaps. You might want to reconsider her in this swap. My swap alone had 5 partners, so she'll have five 1 ratings soon.

@RangDang yes, you can send a postcard from somewhere near, just to show your partner where you live.

@VivaLaDiane I already deleted her from this swap because her ratings does not meet with the requirement.
