Description:

There's been lots of swaps on Swap-Bot for Washi / Deco tape samples and I thought it would be fun to do one of these sort of swaps, but postcard style!

Since this is a swap for samples, that means that your partner should be able to use the tape that you send them, if they wish to.

Instructions:

  • A. Figure out the largest size postcard that can be shipped for the standard international postcard rate for your country (US is 6 x 4 1/4 in, for example). Try to aim for sending a postcard close to the maximum size allowed.

  • B. Take a printed postcard or pretty piece of cardstock paper (cut, not torn out) and cover the front with clear contact paper, or wide clear packing tape.

OR

  • B. Take a regular piece of cardboard / cardstock paper, cut out a postcard sized piece (do not tear a piece off, it doesn't look as good) and cover it with pretty contact paper. Point is, the front base of the postcard should look nice.

  • C. Cover the front of the postcard with Washi / Deco tape samples, going lengthwise. Try not to overlap the samples otherwise it will be hard for your partner to remove the tapes if they want to use them.

  • D. If you have a preference for either Washi or Deco tape plase state so in the comments below.

  • 1 Partner
  • 1 Washi / Deco tape covered postcard made per instructions
  • Send naked
  • Senders choice but if you are able to accommodate your partners preference, please do so

Have fun! :)

I'll give this a try. I don't really care what I get. Surprise me too.
