MMA~Inspiration Cards

You can put these together to create a deck of inspiration or you can use them any way in your art or craft. My thanks to Shannon Freer from The Paper Dragon for letting me adapt for this group.

For this swap you will create four inspiration cards made from a standard deck of playing cards or any ATC sized material. If there is enough interest in this group we'll repeat it and we will each have a lovely deck of inspiration cards. Plus you can join Shannon over at the Paper Dragon if you want to do a bunch here and there. Slight variations in cards size is fine, but all must be between 3.25/3.5 " and 2.25/2.5". Paint/decorate the playing cards however you desire. You may have to lightly sand the surface if they are slippery to help the paint adhere. The use of Gesso will also help the paint stick. You can add some bits of collage elements keeping in mind that we don't want the cards too bulky. They should be somewhat flat. After you have decked out (pun intended) your set of playing cards or ATCs, either write, print out or use found text to add a different inspirational quote or word, or even funny quotes/sayings to each card. You may coat each card with gel medium or similar coating for added protection. For this swap we will paint and decorate 4 playing cards. Since this isn't really profile based, you may make your cards before partners are assigned. Just make them nice, like you'd like to receive. :)

Also, be sure to sign the back and maybe add some pretty to that side as well.
