LOES: Handmade envies

Don't you just love getting pretty mail? I know I do, and one of the more fun ways to get there is with handmade envies! For this swap you will make five envies to send to one partner.

Use a variety of materials, not all the same things, to create your mailable sized envies. Paper bags, calendar or catalog pages, book pages, maps, scrapbook paper, wallpaper samples, etc. Use at least three different materials.

Theme is sender's choice, but if your partner doesn't celebrate Christmas, please don't send them Christmas envies!

They must be at least 3.5" x 5", but can be any size bigger than that.

If you want you can add washi tape, collaged elements, stamped images, nice stickers, doodles, paint... The sky is the limit, but decorations are not required. You can also line them if you want.

Your envies should be glued but do not need to have adhesive on the flap unless you want to. Also, consider how rough the USPS is on paper and if your material is light weight, tape inside along the folds to reinforce. Make these really nice!

Once you have them made, write a note with your name and the swap name on it to include in a larger envie to send to your partner. Be sure you include enough postage for sending it.
