Carpe Librum ~ Beat Your Best Read-a-Thon

Beat Your Best Read-a-Thon is a brand new read-a-thon / challenge that I came up with recently to host on my blog.

What is Beat Your Best Read-a-Thon? Beat Your Best is a brand new read-a-thon, running Nov 15-22. ByB is a completely laid back challenge in which you choose how you will beat your own personal best when it comes to reading. This can be done in small or big ways, and is just meant to encourage you to push yourself with your reading in any way that you choose.

Some examples ~

• The longest book you've read is 450 pages, so you read one that is longer
• The most books you've read in a week is 3, so you read at least 4
• The most pages you've read in a day is 500, so you read more than that
• You found a new author who you've enjoyed just one book of, so you read two more
• You've read most of a series but never finished, so you get that series completed

• Once it's over, email or SB message your partner about your experiences

After the Read-a-Thon, email your partner about it, let them know if you had any goals ~ what they were and if you met them. Did you do any challenges? What books were your favorites? What did you enjoy about the RaT?
