Description:

Here's a washi challenge for you! You'll find a washi to go with each letter in the phrase HURRY SPRING. For example, for "H" you might have a tape with horses, houses, etc. For "G" you might go with green, girly, or gifts, and so on. Make each sample different and at least 15" long. Wrap carefully on a playing card or cardstock covered in clear shipping tape. Add a note telling how the samples go with the letters, just in case it isn't obvious.

Be sure to include the swap name and your user name. Decorate the envelope with some washi, too.

"U" is always challenging. A word search online will help. We'll have to get creative - LOL! :)

Hah! U is for ugly!! 😀

ArtyBeth3 03/10/2015 #

Ultra- (a.) A prefix from the Latin ultra beyond (see Ulterior), having in composition the signification beyond, on the other side, chiefly when joined with words expressing relations of place; as, ultramarine, ultramontane, ultramundane, ultratropical, etc. In other relations it has the sense of excessively, exceedingly, beyond what is common, natural, right, or proper; as, ultraconservative; ultrademocratic, ultradespotic, ultraliberal, ultraradical, etc.

  • Umber (a.) Of or pertaining to umber; resembling umber; olive-brown; dark brown; dark; dusky.
  • Umbrellas, udders...
  • Unarted (a.) Not artificial; plain; simple.
  • Unbottomed (a.) Having no bottom; bottomless. (hmmm...cup of bottomless coffee or tea...)

Uncanny (a.) strange; weird (To me - anything mustache! :)

Who knew there could be all these possibilities? I surely didn't until I started a Google search tonight.

This could be a good one too:

Undersized (a.) Of a size less than is common.

Are we having fun yet?

  • Uneven (edges...)

I'm actually glad I dove into this "U" study because the original tape I chose for "U" was kind of lame. ;)

Gdoodle 03/11/2015 #

LOL you girls crack me up! hahahahh

paperpusher 03/11/2015 #

Unique, up (sky, birds, planes,) unbelievable (monsters, fairy tales, etc,) useful (as in items on the tape.) I've used these for "u" words before :)

ArtyBeth3 03/11/2015 #

Well, duh, why didn't I think of "up" - love that one! :)

ArtyBeth3 03/11/2015 #
