ATC - Illustrate a Book You Love - Anime/G.N.

Find an anime novel/graphic novel l that you love (or just find one you are willing to read), and use it as your inspiration to create an ATC illustrating a passage in the book. I am opening this one up to pretty much any graphic novel, as some people aren't into anime, per se, but like graphic novels (a la "Walking Dead).

I understand it is hard to be original when you are drawing about a book full of drawings. If you want to try to imitate the style of your author, or recreate one of the panels, that is fine. Or go wild. ;)

Please make your ATC standard size and composition (i.e, 2.5 x 3.5 inches and on a rigid card). Please put your ATC in some sort of protective envelope or sleeve. Other than that, do what you want. Any medium is acceptable.

Mail your ATC to your partner with a short note telling your partner which book and what passage you are illustrating. Feel free to elaborate further (i.e, why you love the book, when you first read it, etc) or not, but please at least do the bare minimum and tell your partner what they are looking at! :)

Since this might require you actually re-reading the book, I am giving you a full month from the time of this posting. You don't have to have a partner to start reading. ;)

I will angel if you are flaked on, or if anyone wants to volunteer to angel, that is cool, as well.

Recipients, I myself am not a great artist and also don't want to freak anyone out of joining, so please rate a 5 if it looks like the person put some effort into the card and if you get it in a timely fashion, even if the attempt looks amateurish (as mine will).

I am setting minimum rating at 4.95 with three rated Type 3 swaps under your belt. I reserve the right to remove anyone I consider risky, but I typically will PM you ahead of time if I have any questions before removing you.
