TSJ: Nifty Thrifty Altered Tag

When I'm out thrifting, I'm always on the lookout for little bits and bobs to use in my crafting projects. If this sounds familiar, dig out your stash and create with me!

For this swap, you will be creating an altered tag for your partner. Use paints, inks, rubber stamping, collage, or anything that floats your boat. Any theme, any style. Since we are thrift shop junkies, you will need to add at least one element that you've gotten from a thrift shop, antiques/vintage shop, garage sale, etc.

Some ideas might include old buttons, page from an old book, game piece, old key, vintage photo, ribbon, vintage lace, old jewelry bit, etc. Use your imagination to create something lovely for your partner.

Please put some time and thought into your creation and send something you are proud of. The back of the tag should be lightly decorated.

You will be decorating at least a standard #5 shipping tag (4 3/4" x 2 3/8") with a pre-punched hole. This way, we can hold our tags together with a ring. Your tag can be a bit bigger, but that should be the minimum size. Feel free to create your own tag as long as it's sturdy and has the hole punched in the right place.

This is completely sender's choice, so you can start any time!

Don't forget to include a note with your swap, letting your partner know your swap-bot name and the swap name.
