Description:
During the week of May 3rd to May 9th, pick a day & watch any film that was made in the 1980s. It can be a film you've seen before, or one you've never seen, or one you haven't seen in a long time. Anything goes as long as it was filmed in the 1980s. Pm or email your partner what movie you picked. Tell them if you enjoyed it or not? Is it a film you've seen before? If you've seen the film before was it still as good as you remembered it being? Do you think the film is still relevant today? What did you think of the fashion and music that was portrayed in the film? You can use my questions as a guide and of course add anything else you want to tell your partner about the movie you watched! Need some ideas? Here is a small list of 1980s films I thought of: The Breakfast Club, Princess Bride, Goonies, Stand by Me, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to the Future Trilogy, Star Wars, Karate Kid, Working Girl, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, 9 to 5, and so on.... This is just meant to be a bit if fun and see what its like to take a blast to the past! I thought if this was popular we could do flashback challenges to other eras of film.

Oh Thankyou! I will give it a go for a few rounds and see how the group takes to the idea. I think it could be fun to do black and white classics, old Hollywood classics, Hollywood starlets, movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s, musicals, chick flicks, lotsa fun potential lol

It's gonna be so hard to pick just one, though, since Dirty Dancing, Goonies, and the Princess Bride are three of my favorite movies! I might just have to scan Netflix to see what I can find! I know I have 9 To 5 on my list.... Heathers, Stand By Me, Just One Of The Guys, Teen Witch, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure... so many to choose from!
