U.S. and International What an opportunity to show off some knitting skills for your partner's Christmas tree! You will have one partner to make one knitted mini sweater ornament. To be clear this is for a real sweater only ornament size - not a one dimensional flat piece. Don't forget the loop or hanger to hang it from the tree too. Patterns abound on the internet but if you have trouble finding some they can be found on Knitting Pattern Central in the Christmas section. Although I think we shouldn't stand in the way of creativity, if you plan on decorating in a special color theme you could leave a hint in the comments section. If the pattern you are using is a free one from the internet it would be nice if you included it as an extra for your partner. Please be generous with your partner and try to make her day! Please read partner profiles for allergies, I think this gives enough time to plan ahead, make and send before the holiday hubbub starts. And if you're a newbie and want to join you have plenty of time to finish up your swaps in order to meet the requirements You must have a a 4.7 or higher and no no-sends. Please, if you don't really have the time, you've already signed up for fifty swaps or lack the know how to make such items don't sign up. I will check before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason.

Here is a great site! It has 12 different mini sweaters - it only took an hour and a half to make one!

The book only had a mini stocking - my mistake! It's called Knitted Stockings and it is shaped like a stocking. It also has a felted star that I like.

I just bought the new Better Homes and Garden Holiday Crafts magazine (with a mighty cute felt Santa pillow on the front), and it has a sweater ornament in it also!

I'm the one who decorates the Christmastree. And I really want to touch the things I receive, so I can 'look' at it with my hands. And wool makes my hands itching, so that spoiles the fun. I hope this answers your question.
