USAPC: Framed Paper Butterflies

For this swap you'll be sending your partner some framed butterflies to hang on the wall!

Here's what to do:

• buy an inexpensive frame (or use one you already have)--at least 5"x7" Any type of frame is fine--the dollar store has a pretty big selection.

• remove the glass if there is glass

• put some type of background paper inside the frame

• punch or create butterflies of any size (or different sizes) and create a butterfly picture with them.

• VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT GLUE DOWN THE WINGS! ONLY GLUE THE CENTER OF THE BUTTERFLY SO IT WILL BECOME A 3-D PICTURE. The only exception to this would be if you "stack" 1 butterfly atop another--then the one on the bottom would be glued down in its entirety.

• Your butterflies may fly in a random arrangement or you may create a pattern (square, heart, etc) with them . . . sender's choice!

We probably all have a frame or two not in use and if not just pop to the dollar store!
