Description:

By request, a USA only version.

It's time to create a Masterboard, and then you will create either a mail art postcard or a mail art ATC, one for each of your two partners. Making that a total of 2 Masterboard Mail Art pieces you will need to make.

Here are some examples:

Masterboard

Stamped Masterboard

3D Masterboard

Masterboard

So, have fun making your master board. You can choose from just about any mediums, on just about any topics, or even use random stuff. Which means...there are no mistakes, they all make interesting backgrounds. I would suggest making at least an 8x10 on heavy cardstock or cardboard as a base. You can, of course, go bigger, then you will have some left over to use in your other projects. Sender;s Choice on if they choose to make a postcard or an ATC, that they made from the Masterboard created.

Have fun.

I'd love a link to see a photo of the masterboard before our piece was created.

too late for me I already made mine and cant wait to swap!

Darida 07/ 7/2015 #

could anybody tell how sturdy the paper should be ? Mine is thinner than watercolor..... should I glue it to the card stock?

Mine's sort of between cardstock and chipboard consistency.

I imagine as long as it's sturdy as a postcard or card for ATC, it should be okay.

I wish I could see every postcard created in this group. lol. There is some great work happening here. Thank you all.

I recently sent one that was just cardstock and it made it, but I usually glue it to some kind of backing like cardstock or cardboard just to make it sturdier....but it often costs more to mail that way.

Feel free to post any pictures in our forum.

Yes I glue it to cardboard. Thank you
