Description:

Who doesn't love a good old scavenger hunt?

In this version everyone will make 5 ATCs to their partner and include the items on the scavenger hunt list to the ATCs - one item to one ATC.

  1. something from your wallet
  2. an animal
  3. a key
  4. words
  5. meaning of life

These are to be a part of your ATC but are completely open to your own interpretation. Feel free to get creative :)

The ATCs can be made using any medium you prefer. They must be standard ATC size, which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (64 x 89mm). You can create the cards on regular playing cards (provided they are the right size) or on regular trading cards or on your own choice of material. I've used cardboard packaging, sturdy envelopes and watercolor paper among many other possible choices. You may use as much or as little embellishments on your cards as you like. Just keep in mind that the final product should still be flat enough to fit in the standard trading card sleeves.

This swap is International. Please don't join if you can't afford the postage.

Everyone with a rating over 4 is welcome as well as newbies with fully written profiles. If you have 'no sends' please message me what's the status on those and we'll see what we can do. I want everyone to receive their cards in the end.

If you are new to ATCs but would like to join, don't hesitate. I'll help you get started :)

can it be a picture of a key, or whatever, or do we attach an actual key - i'm VERY new to atc's, but have also joined the beginner's ATC group, so hopefully my swappee will be gentle in judging my efforts - also, what works best to attach things to paper? regular glue makes the paper curl and wouldn't hold "objects" very well. thanks for any help

It can most definitely be a picture of a key, but if you happen to have spare keys lying around, you can use those as well. I think there is a certain kind of glue for attaching different materials to one another. If anyone knows an actual brand and a store where to find such a thing, please post and share your knowledge. I always end up experimenting and sometimes it works out and sometimes not so much. I\'m planning on attaching an actual key with a string to avoid the glue-problem :)

e6000 is a fabulous glue to attach metal embellishments --- reminds me of airplane glue, which i\'m sure would work too --- you get a huge tube at any craft store in the adhesive section - runs about $4 or so a tube --- also lovin scotch\'s quick dry tacky adhesive, glue dots and glue lines!
