Description:

This swap is for those of us who would like to know more about a foreign country and receiving a small package from that country. You'll have to send your partner:

  • A touristic magnet from your country

  • A touristic keychain from your country

  • A postcard showing an attraction of your country. It can be a UNESCO site, a city or whatver you consider being an attraction of your country. Please write about that attraction on the back of the postcard.

  • A local goodies, something impossible to find out of your country.

  • A mini-sheet of stamps. Too often, stamps are forgotten in this kind of swap, but its very interesting to see stamps released by the different countries of the world.

  • A profile-based item, but it has to remain something touristy or something showing your country's culture.

  • A little note including you ID and the swap's name.

Please, fill the envelope! Many things are free to send and very nice to receive: bus or subway tickets, touristic flyers, used stamps, a journal article in your own language, etc. Be creative and try to get a heart!

This swap is pretty expensive as this is an international swap with many items to send. The requirements are the following: The minimum rating is 4,98 and you need to have at least 15 type 3 or 2 swaps behind your belt. I will check profiles before assigning partners. Please note that I cannot angel this swap. This is a flake-free zone, if you plan to flake, go join another swap than this one, let's keep it fun, it's a question of respect.

Only one person per country, please write your country's name in the comment section when you sign up. Remember to sign up!

Happy swapping! :)

I have a strange feeling that you somehow copied my own swap which I am holding for two editions now - the Meet My Country Swap. I even hear my own words in the description, like profile-based gift remaining something local, also the mix of keychain+magnet+postcard.... You are free to organize whatever swap you want, but you could contact me before and ask about using my ideas. For everyone to check: http://swap-bot.com/swap/show/204960

I don't actually have 15 type 3 ratings, though, so I do believe Denmark is up for grabs :)

@JackSpades : I'll host this swap again in the future, you'll have the chance to take part when you'll have more ratings! :)
