should the journal be completely filled or should there be blank pages for our partner to continue journalling in?

What a fabulous idea! I too love winter! My husband thinks I'm crazy because I get really excited when it starts snowing for the first time of the season! Kicks of the Christmas spirit for me! I am really excited to start designing this too! Thanks fairyfufu for hosting the swap!

i am also curious fairyfufu, do we completely fill out the journal or leave blank pages for our partner?

fairyfufu 08/29/2008 #

I think if we leave some pages blank for our partner to add to would be cool. You can decorate the journal any way you wish, just the outside, all of it including the pages you write on. I saw some awesome snowflake ribbons and buttons that I'm just going to have to buy and use lol.

Hi! This sounds so fun. Is there a minimum number of pages that need to be decorated and/or filled out on the inside? Also, is a composition book an acceptable form of journal/notebook, even though they only have 80 pages??

I would say a minimum of say 20 pages that way our partner would have something nice to read. No maximum if you want to fill your journal then you can. A composite book would be fine. I have a hard backed A5 sized book which I'm going to decorate.

@Fairy .. Awesome swap. I can't wait to start winter craft shopping & dusting off some winter recipes I haven't tried last year!

@ marmot... Great idea. I was kind of worried about filling up 100 pages. LOL
