2016 is a Leap Year!

Back in the day (according to one source), Leap Day was an opportunity for women to propose to their men. The woman had to wear a red petticoat during the proposal to prepare the man for her intentions. If the man rejects the proposal, he had to buy the woman 12 pairs of gloves so she had gloves to wear all year long to cover up her ring-less hand.

How about a postcard swap to 1 partner sharing your ideas of what you can do to make February 29 special and possibly be something that could turn into a February 29 tradition! It could be something to do individually, as a couple, with your family or a group of friends!

Again, this would be a postcard swap sent to 1 partner. The postcard is sender's choice and will be sent naked (not in an envelope) and on the back you will share your idea or ideas of possible new February 29 traditions!
