Description: | |
(copied from the public One Big Gift swap) Send ONE profile-based gift valued €10-€15 (that's something like 11 to 16 USD; please check a currency converter, also for other currencies) to your partner. The important point is: send exactly ONE item. Do not send many smaller items with a total value of the swap. (The only exception are items sold in sets: for example a set of acrylic colors counts as one item if it's sold in a box.) This should be, as the title says, one big gift. "Big", of course, meaning "valuable" in this case - not physical size. (A piece of jewellery can be quite valuable despite being small... And is, of course, perfectly acceptable if your partner likes that sort of thing.) The gift has to be profile-based. It doesn't have to be something specifically from your partner's Amazon or Etsy wishlist (though it certainly doesn't hurt to look if they have one!) but it absolutely has to be something mentioned on their profile. When sending clothes or jewellery, make sure you get the right size for your partner! (Likewise, if you wish for items like that, please state on your profile the sizes you need and what style you prefer.) Only new items (unless your partner collects antiquities), nothing handmade in this swap as it's difficult to assign a value. Read the whole profile and avoid any dislikes or allergies. I allow a lot of time for sending - this is because you might want to order something for your partner, which can take time. Please don't start thinking about what to send on the last day! This should be a thoughtful gift. It can take some time to research your partner's hobbies or their preferred fashion style or whatever. This gift should come from the heart! Include a short note to your partner, explaining why you chose the item you sent. |
