MLU: Mermaid Zine!

So I know how hard it is to get people in the groups to sign up. We just don’t check them often and for this swap, I feel we need time to create something really special. My birthday is in July and I want to get mermaid goodness for that time so the deadline for sending will be July 5th. (Just in time to get a tide full of mermaids landing on the shore! LOL did I get too nerdy?!)

For this Zine, you will create a mermaid/Ocean themed zine using an 8.5x 11 “piece of paper. There are a ton of tutorials online. The zine will be in full color and copied for as many partners as sign up. Yes, everyone will receive a copy. (We all should share in the goodness!!) When it comes time to assign partners, I will change the number of partners to reflect the number of participants. These should only take one stamp to send. There should be a mermaid on every page. Have fun with this! If you wish to hand draw or hand paint it…even better!!! LOVE original artwork! Either way, everything must be in color. Any medium is welcome, Mix and match it if you like!...I know I will! Have fun with this swap!
