Hi there! Ive been on a flip-book binge and wanted to host a swap because I've been craving to swap more! If you are unfamiliar with flip books, a few examples can be found below. This is my first time hosting a swap so please be patient! If you have any suggestions I'd be glad to oblige.

This is more than your average letter!

(other names for them are booklets or folders but I think flip-book is the most popular name for them at the moment...)

They are either a large sheet of paper folded in half, into 3 pages or however many times you can without it being too small, or pages stuck together with tape so you can have multiple pages.

They contain a letter (either in a pocket or tucked in creatively somewhere), pockets, decoration, and goodies for your pen-pals.

They are usually over 5 by 5 inches (when closed) but other than that sizing is usually up to the person creating it - as long as it is not to small and not too big. They also don't have to be the same size length and height.

Emphasis on the 'decorated'. It can't be just folded patterned paper. Please put your heart into it! ♥"

you can use premade deco papers or watercolor/paint your own like in the last video. the purpose of a flip-book is so that your partner can "flip" through the pages to find all the goodies! Your flip book must be at least 2 pages. Send something you would be DELIGHTED to receive. I'll give plenty of time so that you can make it extra special.

Please Include: A short note describing your week, your weekend, a little about you, just something pleasant. A paragraph or two will suffice. Group name, swap name, username At least 5 different craft supplies/handmade art goodies to gift to your partner.

Some ideas for gifts/decoration are: Brads Tea Seed packets (keep in mind some of us live in apartments so seeds for potted plants/herbs are usually a safe bet!) Tags Deco paper (no smaller than ATC size) Ephemera mini envelopes Magazine/book clippings Stickers Washi Samples An ATC, zine, or little drawing by you Pressed flowers Fancy Paper Clips Add a belly band Sticky notes

Check profiles if you wanna send something extra special, but ultimately theme is senders choice, so you can start before partners are assigned if you'd like.
