Writer Workshop: Pixie Dust (June)

This new swap series is open to all writers, but is especially helpful for fiction writers. This is the USA version. The international swap is here and hosted by @bombardiette

There are lots of writing blogs out there offering plenty of advice and information. This first swap is based on a post in one of my favorite blogs, Writer Unboxed.

Read the post titled "Pixie Dust" by Donald Maass and then answer one of the nine question prompts he offers at the end of the piece.

I would also encourage you to read the comments. There are A LOT of them, but you'll learn even more by reading them as well as the posting.

You'll have a month to ruminate about this. The idea will be to post a writer workshop each month (or so). We'll see how participation goes.

Send your two partners a copy of what you write.

This is a flat mail swap, but it's Type 3 because writing is a craft and this has the potential to be time-consuming.
