My Secret Garden Junk Journal

Make one junk Journal out of any type of book cover, it can be old antique or new using the theme, " Secret Garden"... This is a Altered Book Making Swap. Make a book from cover to cover use a antique book or newer used book cover to begin assemblage. Look under any Altered book or book making video on u tube for inspiration.

This can mean any type of garden, whether it is a enchanted garden, magical or a farie garden. Inspiration, growth and relaxation should be the feel of stepping into a garden. It should be fun no religious connotations.

Use any type of book cover approx. 5x7 or a little larger choose to bind the way you want.... use signatures (in photo) or bind with rings. (If using metal rings please reinforce papers around holes.) I use a steel three hole punch from a garage sale, works great for mine.

Include 24 pages, thats 48 front and back. Please lightly decorate pages so your partner can use this book. The pages like 10-15% do not have to be the same size. you may use printed papers, magazine pages pretty photos and epherma tags clothespins yarn stamps, sayings, ect. and pile on at least 4 pockets. Let you imagination go wild!!

This is a intensive swap, I allowed extra time for this. No store bought books allowed for this, it is a swap for people who enjoy the book making process. No late sends, three months should be enough time to make two books!
