Description:

This Butterfly Postcard Round Robin is like the Butterfly Pass and paste, except we will keep passing to the same person.

Pretend we are all in the same room and we are in a circle. And There are 5 of us. We are going to work on pasting and passing these butterfly postcards to each other. I will start my card and pass it to whomever the swap-bot assigns me. When I get my card from my sender, I will mail the next card to the same person. My sender will always send to me the card she has finished working on.

Each person will start a new Postcard. But those who have ones to pass on may include the extra. Therefore you may get 2 Postcards in an envelope to paste and then pass.

I suggest you use the chipboard from a cereal box or other food box. Cut it to 4x6. Cover one side with paper, Mainly to cover up the food box. This is the front. The "front" of the postcard is divided into 4 sections. Each section is numbered 1 through 4. You will be the one to draw the lines on front of the card, and create 4 equal sections.

The other side should be blank, meaning you are seeing just chipboard. You can cover it with paper if you need to.

The "back" of the postcard is divided in half, just like a regular postcard. Your address is in the address part on the right of the card. The "writing" side was divided into 4 spaces, numbered 1 through 4. Add a postcard stamp to it.

Place it into an envelope and mail to your assigned partner. When you recevve your swap you will decorate spot # 1 on the front, and put your contact info on spot 1 in the back. . and then you will mail it off to the same assigned partner. You have one week to work on the PC, and mail it on. It is not to hard, you are adding some butterfly paper and some butterflies.

You again place The postcard in an envelope and mail it out. Etc When all 4 spots are full the last person will drop your postcard back in the mail to you.

All sections on the front must include a butterfly. You must put your swapbot user name, city and state, the month and date that you worked on it on the back. Other info is optional.

This swap is limited to 5 USA players. Once I get 5 players in good standing. I will close the swap, change the sign up date, and assign partners. I will NOT change the send by date so dont worry about that. You should have your completed postcard, back in your hands 1 month or sooner.

I'm not sure I understand the part about you maybe sending more thenoe card??? And having to start another??? I read this as signing up with this swap means you will be mailing and working on 5 postcards counting your own. I just don't get were the extras come in

Some swappers have PCs that are not finished. We only made it to round 2 before the host became unable to host. So some of us might have an unfinished one. They can add that one to the swap.

But everyone needs to start a new PC for this round. It is limited to 5 players, as there are only 4 spots on the PC. The starter would not take up a space, just put their return mailing address on the back side.

As soon as I get one more player, I will close this swap.

So, do we mark it sent once we've sent the final phase?? So that should actually be the 5th send, yes? send ours out to be worked on, then pass on 3 more, then finish one up and send it to the original owner...?

The send by date for the 1st card, is July 9th and we all should have our cards back by AUG 9th if everyone mails in a timely manner. I marked mine mailed today. Cause I mailed the first card today.

I will post in the comments when I mail again and again. Just so you all know.

OK - thank you for explaining! My tired brain didn't quite get it and I had a moment of panic! Sent mine today too :) Thanks for a fun swap - this is my first pass & paste!!

I got an envelope from Luna containing Ann S. Trader 1244's butterfly postcard.. I am mailing it off to Babs on Tuesday and Ann should gets her back in a week or so.

I cant read the postmark on the envelope, but I think it has been traveling around. It has all this decorative tape that was black and white so it obscures the postmark. I also think it obscured the bar code at the bottom which means the postal workers you know had to work .... bwaaaahahahha, and not let a machine deliver the mail. evil Heather is signing off. Holy Heather will return momentarily.

Babs posted on my profile that she got my mail. She plans to mail it off to ANN S Trader1244. One complete.
