Description:

I saw this on Etsy and I thought, what a really great idea. I don't know about anyone else, but I find other people's scraps to be way more inspiring than my own. And so a swap is born.

Here's the deal. We'll have 1 partner for this. I'm going to be firm on ratings for this one so no recent no sends and nobody with less than a 4.8. Newbies can play, but you MUST have a decently filled out profile so that your partners have an idea of what you are into. I will be checking profiles and making suggestions which you are free to take or leave as you see fit, but I'll ban anyone who doesn't have a full profile, new or old. It's a huge peeve of mine in these kinds of swaps and I won't inflict it on anyone else either. This is an international swap (you guys have all the best scraps).

You need to fill an evelope (at least 6x9 inches (and what appears to be around 15.24x22.86 cm)) with an assortment of things that can be used to create ATCs. Some ideas are paper scraps (of a usable size, please), bits of fabric, ribbons, ephemera, pages from old books, pictures, text, paint, pens, buttons, beads, vintage art, etc... I'm going to leave this up to each sender, but please remember 1) check your partner's profile to get an idea of things that they'll appreciate or will completely dislike and 2) only send things that you'd be willing to use in your own art.

I want this to be something fun for everyone. Even though most (or all) of the contents of your envelope will be used, don't send things that are dirty or unusable. Ratings are based on whether or not you recieve a 6x9 or bigger envelope full of usable (not necessarily brand new or perfect condition) goodies. Hearts are at every swappers discretion.

Signing up for this swap acknowledges that you are aware that you will most likely NOT be receiving band new items and will not rate down because of that. I reserve my rights to ban as necessary for the good of the swap, but I will angel as necessary. I just hope that everyone will play nice and I won't have to. :)

is there a minimum or a maximum on weight?

I assume this is international?

Oops, sorry, I haven't checked for comments in a few days.

Yes, it's an international swap and no there isn't any set weight restrictions. If you send primarily paper scraps then your package won't be as heavy as if you sent other things, but as long as you stuff a 6x9 (or bigger!) envelope full of goodies then you're ok. :)

I got a little carried away, but I think my partner will enjoy the package that's on the way. :)

Whew, got it in the mail just in time! :)
