Description:

Cut a manageable piece of brown or white craft paper. I use the craft paper that comes rolled up on a tube but you can also use a brown paper bag from the grocery store. This piece will be cut down to ATC (s) size later.

Now apply several colors of acrylic paint that go well together. I spread it around with a damp (notice this says damp - not soaking wet) sea sponge but have also used a paint brush or old credit card. However, I like the sea sponge or any sponge the best. The paint can over-lap. I usually spray on black webbing, but this step is optional. Black webbing can be bought by spray cans at craft stores.

After the paint is dry, cut the dry painted craft paper down to your ATC & glue it to cardstock. Now stamp or collage your ATC to finish it. Add this to a sturdy backing like a cereal box.

I am a little unclear about this. The main components are acrylic paint on Kraft paper, right? We don't have to use the sponge? Or do we?

I apply the acrylic paint with a damp sponge onto the craft paper but you can apply it anyway you want as long as you can see the different colors of paint.
