Description:

You will be creating (1) master board for your partner to use in her creativity.

Start with an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of cardstock. You can use paints, rubber stamping, embossing, inks, sprays, collage, etc to build up layers. The more random layers, the better!

You may cut your cardstock in half to make it easier to mail, but other than than, it should not be cut. Your partner can cut to her liking to use for a journal page, ATC backgrounds, inchies, etc. I love doing these up ahead of time and have on hand for my ATCs. I use even the tiniest strips left over as accents.

Package securely for safe arrival, and send off to your partner with a note that includes your swap-bot ID and the swap name.

Do your best work and send something you would love to receive :)

I will be holding a future swap where we will create an ATC using part of the master board sent by our partner. If you want to participate, be sure you cut at least one piece in ATC size and keep aside.

Happy creating!

I started blending a base for my master boards, and I am having a problem with my paper warping. Do you know of a way to minimize this?

Just wanted to say that it's better to just fold the page in half as opposed to cutting it. If you fold it then it's still usable with any cuts for example.

an 8.5 x 11 sheet yields 10 ATC backgrounds + 3 inchies

What are you using @judgedbyabookscover ? Pretty much anything I use causes some warping due to adding water or wet things like paints. I pretty much always end up sticking my ATCs or pages under a heavy stack of books overnight to help flatten. I think when using watery things (paints, sprays, etc.) there's no way to avoid it. Maybe someone else will chime in :)
