Description:

We celebrate 100 years of Roald Dahl on September 13 -- hooray for big friendly giants, sneaky little girls and boys, fantastic foxes, really scary witches, and not-so-magic tortoises!

Let's make a little Roald Doll to honor the creative soul who created realistic children in not-completely-realistic situations.

One doll of some sort, from a paper doll with completely articulated joints to a snail-mail package doll (PM me for details, basically a doll that is the package/ naked mail thing) -- let's say a few hours of effort with breaks for snozzcumbers, to be fair -- to one swap partner. Cloth, paper, felted wool, fused plastic, wood, clay, paper clay, wire, ink, paint, thread, 2D, 3D, DD -- sender decides. Doll may depict a Roald Dahl character, Roald Dahl himself, or be Roald Dahl inspired/ themed in your own artistocreative way.

Let's try to get this one done in time for a little post-birthday cake gobbling (feel free to have tea with your creation before you send but avoid the crumbs).

Open to all ZMACS members in good standing, I will BFG all unsent swaps. Sense of adventure and willingness to suspend elements of adulthood that we should probably unlearn anyway is a requirement. Have some fun!

Hoping to create time to join, and watching eagerly for now! What an inspiring and brilliant idea for a swap! I really love this. :0)
