Journal Page - Open Theme

For this swap you will be sending one sheet of paper folded to measure 8” x 3 ¾ to 4” (width depends on if you: tri-fold your paper or cut to width for a folded sheet) and completely decorate the front, inside full page and back. So that you send them a sort of journal page.

The finished piece can be regular fold in half or tri-fold whichever you prefer.

You can use regular copy paper, card stock, scrapbook paper – whatever you wish but please reinforce it (2 sheets of copy paper or add/glue things to it for thickness) so that is not easily torn = that happens sometimes with the mail! Unfortunately.

For this 1st event I will leave it to “senders choice” as how it is to be decorated. Express yourself! Show the sender something about who you are and what you love.

Remember you are receiving a mini journal page that expresses who the maker is. Please take a look at your partner’s profile to ensure you are not sending something offensive to them.

The last page should include your name, address, swap-bot id, the date and your signature.

Yes, I will angel if necessary – but here’s hoping that won’t happen!

When you get enough of these “pages” they can be bound into an actual journal of pages from others to make a unique art journal. And yes, I hope this is a success and each month we can continue this with more of a “theme a month”.
