This swap is for vintage collage types who happen to have a collection of old book and foreign text pages that will fit into a 6x9 manila envelope. Simply collect a VARIETY of 6 pages and mail to your swap partner. Swappers with low ratings and more than 1 no-send may be subject to banning, so please don't sign up if this is you.

After a very poor showing in my collage goodies swap by marginal swappers, I plan to ban anyone with more than one no-send and/or feedback rating below 4.5.

Hello Toni ~ I definitely have six vintage pages from old books that I would love love to share and mail out to someone. Although I am a newbie, I am having a blast with the swaps! As soon as I receive my partner lists I am off to the post office mailing out my packets. I'm not rated yet, because the swaps haven't ended yet. I would love to be able to participate in this, since my passion is using vintage ephemera in my collage, alter art, decoupage projects. It's me again - and I am going back to some of the other swaps that I am participating in and reading the "leave a comment" portions. I guess I am pretty naive with my thinking. Thinking that if you sign up for a swap you swap. But, it sounds like that is not always the case and some people do not receive any packets. Anyways.....if I can not sign up with this swap because I am a newbie and I am waiting for ratings, please let me know. I'll wait for the next swap like this - cause' this one really interests me. In the meantime, I will put together a packet tonight just in case you say it is "good to go" so I am ready to mail out. Thanks for letting me ramble.....

Yeah, newbies are welcome. There's no way to foolproof these swaps, but we try.

I recently added to my collection of old books when the local thrift store was selling 4 books for $.99! I can't wait to share these and to see what other people have found.

Good afternoon blackie,esther in Tansmania, Australia from takeabreak,joanne in Virginia, USA. I will mail your package to you by tomorrow. This is the first time I ever mailed anything overseas so I have no idea how long it will take for you to receive. Have fun with the ephemera! I will also include some vintage metal slide frames from a slide projector, I have hundreds of these things that I bought at a thrift store and thought they might inspire you in some way. Most of the pages that I am sending to you were printed 1910-1958. They can be brittle at times. I have found that it helps to apply some matte-mat Mod Podge on the pages if I plan to cut them.

hello to toni.... received your package today and a big thanks goes out to you. i love love love that piece of tissue letter - so very cool, you can never have too many dictionary pages, especially with the little images, i am a poetry freak so the birds of passage was very special, foreign text pages are great (can't find that around here), the catalog page with the little images, again i love that stuff, i am going to use the images off the gazeteer for a transfe, and gregg shorthand - well that just took me many many years back. love love love this swap and will keep a look out for this sort of thing in the future......i want to participate in these!
