Description:

Well we have another holiday approaching quickly. It's going to be Spring soon and that means Easter is near. Holidays are not great for everyone as we all know so a little bit of Happy Mail might help to being some cheer!

I will run this swap right up to the week before Easter if there is interest and I hope there will be! It's so nice to spread happiness and to be kind.

For this swap you will have one partner. To that partner you will send a cheerful envelope (somewhat decorated with washi, stamps, sketches etc). In the envelope you will include a flat surprise that will mail for approximately two- 3 stamps. Please take the time to wrap with a little bit of tissue and make it somewhat festive! Add a note with swap title, username and at least one cheerful sentence!

Example:

Hi Susie! I hope you are well! I saw these stickers and they reminded me of you! I hope you'll enjoy using them!

Take a piece of tissue paper and wrap the stickers, add the note and put it in the mail! Easy Peasey!

Some ideas for flat surprises.... Bookmark (nicely handmade or store bought), a few blank postcards, a variety of handmade envelopes, a few new note cards (nicely handmade or purchased), a few forever stamps, decals or stickers, a stencil (Michael's has a new line out and they are journal sized). The value should be $2.00. This isn't profile based but it does require the reading of your partner's profile because kindness means caring and you need to care that you're sending something they will like. Join this with the mindset of giving and sharing!

This is swap number one. Open your envelopes when you want to but if you're saving for a special day, please rate with a five when you receive.

Recap:

Swap #1 where you will send a flat envelope, that's been decorated. Inside that envelope you'll include a flat surprise that you think you'll partner will enjoy and definitely not something on their dislike list! Please put some effort into wrapping in tissue paper and be sure to add a note with a cheerful greeting and swap information!

I'm a little confused. If it's a flat surprise like stickers would it still need 2-3 stamps?

No... I changed the number of stamps to " 2 - 3 " because if it were a non-machinable piece (washi, embellishments etc) it would require more postage. It's meant to be a small yet nice gift.... kind of like an "advent" swap but for Spring / Easter/ Pick Me Up!
