IS: Art Studio Fairy door US/Can

For this swap you will create a fairy door for someone’s art studio (you don’t have to have a studio for the door to go in! lol). It should represent an artistic fairy! It should be made with love and actually look like a door. So use quality materials to make your door. It can be themed, decorated, have a door knob, painted any color, etc. The size should be about 5x7. (It can be thinner or taller but approximately that size.) It can be made with any material including cardboard but it SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE IT IS MADE OUT OF CARDBOARD! I have made one that is out of Popsicle sticks but decorated it so that it looked like an outhouse door. Be creative and have fun with this! I have a graphic of a shrine one of my students made in class. She used puff paint to create designs on wood and then spray painted the whole thing with silver. It looks like adorned wood and could be used to make a fanciful door. Very easy to do. I am putting a lot of time on this so that your door can be made well!

3-28 I went to Hobby Lobby and Michaels this week end. I actually found a package of door shaped pieces of wood. these are bigger than 5x7 but much better in size and shape. that is what I'm using. not able to cut wood so I need stuff that is more manageable. My door looks amazing! I'm actually making two identical ones so I can keep it! I will post it on my flickr page when its done.
