Description:

Once again, thanks for all the interest in the ZMACS Survey; it was fun and unexpected and gave me some idea of what was on our minds.

Sometimes we humans are defined by our success and joy, sometimes it is our troubles that shape us. Trouble can be represented in images many ways: fire, dangerous beasts, barriers such as high fences or mountains ...

In this swap, let's make a zine about our troubles or the troubles that we have lived through that have defined us ... using water imagery. Waves, ripples, storms on the ocean, rain, baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean, albatrosses spending years on the sea ... anything watery.

Use any style, any media, any sort of minizine format, make a minizine to send to 2 partners featuring the theme of trouble and the imagery of water. I will angel unsent swaps. OPen to all ZMACS members in good standing.

When you use the word zine, are you always thinking of the single sheet fold zine or can this be a booklet type zine?

Any type that you choose! I am usually pretty liberal with the minizine styles unless people want to be more specific.
