We gather with others of a like mind on the sacred night of Summer's Eve from all edges of our country, & join ourselves to the powers and forces of this mystical season. On this night, all the spirits of nature and the Elements join in a celebration for the Power of Life. Some of us believe this is the night when faires, elves, sprites and other similar folk come out of their hidden places. So it was in the beginning, so it is now, so it shall ever be.

This is a Sender's Choice Swap. Please send your partner something for her altar on Summer Solstice that symbolizes AT LEAST ONE of the following:

1. Symbols of the Goddess & Gods which are placed in the southern quarter. This is the divine couple who give Life to the world

2. Symbols of the Elemental forces who assist us on this sacred night to maintain the natural balance here on Earth. The ancient prayer is that there always be clear water, freshness in the air, fertility in the soil and abundant life for us in the world. We say it is so and so mote it be

3. Any oils, incenses, herbs or other plant materials to be placed in the cauldron (please check for allergies) that release the Power of Light as you light and charge them to make free our lives from all negativity, for the good of all Life within our world

4. Recipes or samples for ritual cakes, libations, or other sacred foods & beverages of the season such as cookies, candies, nectars, ambrosia, teas, so that we ingest what is holy in our lives to bring more Power of Life to the world around us. Package carefully and let your partner know something perishable is in the mail

5. Offerings for the spirits, ancestors and deity to be left out this night. Consider offering bowls, mixing tools, and recipes. An offering is not for your consumption but is safe for wildlife, fairies and elves

6. Ritual tools ... you know what they are, and there are endless options

7. Spells, chants, affirmations, magick, prayer

SUMMARY: One partner, sender's choice. One item from 7 choices listed above. The item can be something altered, something you create or purchase. It should be like new (unless it is a genuine antique), so nothing soiled or damaged. Send on time. Include a note telling your partner about your choice, your ID, the swap name. Rate when you receive. Three weeks from signup to shipping deadline to give you time to reflect and create.
