August (Electronic) Tarot Reading

This is the 9th of a series of Tarot readings our group will do for 2017. When most public (and some private) rituals take place, the altar we usually approach after we travel around the circle North, East, South, West is toward the Center. For this reading, we see how the Guardian of the Rite serves the Priestess, the community and Goddess. The GotR is often not noticed, but holds such energy and it is all about service. Because this month's energy is about our service, then this is a perfect example of doing it.

Like the rituals we do both inside our homes or in community spaces, one work we do is to align ourselves with the intention of the rite, and agree to be a member of the community who loves the Goddess and Her manifestations on Earth.

This is an electronic swap, so we invite all members from around the great green Earth to join us.

Get into your sacred space. Take your entire favorite deck, shuffle and cut three times to the left. Then from the top of your shuffled deck, pull off the first card. YES, just one card will tell it all for the month of August regarding how we are to call energy into ourselves. It means you, as the reader need to do a lot of sensing, looking and interpreting of this card. You don't need a book to give you the meaning. Just look at it and tell your partner what is there.

Tell your partner what you see in the card that represents what they need to be a part of this world in service. It is such an interesting journey. Simply share what you see and sense in the one card you drew for your partner.

When I did this reading for myself, I drew the Moon card. The woman is walking away from the pine trees and the full Moon is over her right shoulder. She has a waning Moon comb in her hair, and also holds a wand. She is looking to her left. It is a card of imagination and intuition. Of course, my take on it is to use those psi skills. It is such a lovely image. The month reminds us to do what only we can do.

If you participate in this monthly series, you may want to keep the readings all together and let them form patterns. If you drop in for one or two during the year, you will get another kind of pattern. Here is where we trust the divine messages.
