Alter ONE Postcard - USA

Create ONE altered postcard for ONE partner.

Take a mass produced postcard (ad, vintage, tourist, etc.) and alter the image side of the postcard in at least two bits/spots/ways. This is limited to USA so you know postage is $0.34. Newbies welcome. I will angel if needed.

Experienced well-rated swappers can probably stop reading here.

Words, words, words: You can glue on a word bubble, paint over parts, add a caption, "put a bird of it" (maybe very out of scale bird much larger or smaller than the rest of the card), rubber stamp, scratch off bits, add rain, clouds, rainbow, scary teeth...

Include the swap name & your swap-bot name on the card, mail your card, wait, and then rate your partner on what you received, not whether you loved it.

Communicate! I will angel if needed - after you've communicated with your partner and given them a "1".

It's sender's choice so you can start creating now.

NOTE: $0.34 is postcard postage for those mailed within USA (& APO ,military boxes, Puerto Rico). For this rate, your postcard must be:

• rectangular,
• at least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick, AND
• no more than 4-1/4 inches high x 6 inches long x 0.016 inches thick.

If it is larger than 4.25 x 6 " (but less than 6-1/8" x 11-1/2" x 1/4" thick) requires first class postage ($0.49). Bigger than that and the "flats" (large envie) rate applies.
