A. I will allow newbies, as we were all newbies to begin with and how else can you NOT be a newbie but to do a swap??? BUT do not join unless you are 115% committed to showing oldies what a dedicated newbie candobie. B. North America only to minimize shipping costs but to allow my loony friends to participate in this craft exchange. C. No swappers with LOW or BAD scores. I will not set the bar high and my reason is this -- scores are subjective AND use this challenge to wow the socks off of your swap buddy. Do soemthing so awesome your score is raised and redeemed by your sharing of tunage. D. PLEASE be serious about sending. It sucks to get "forgotten." I know. I have been the one waiting by my mailbox and in days gone by when my youngest was very young, I, too, forgot to get something out. Luckily for me they knew me and we could work it out. On here, it is a different environment and the honour system is taken very seriously. Flake and the Swap-Bot world knows about it.

Rules --

2. READ what your swap buddy writes -- this is crucial.
3. Take a "tube" made for wine bottles (think BIG pringle's can!)

-- you can decorate the outside if you like, or find one which suits your swap buddy's preferences. 4. Choose one of each crafts from your buddy's lists. 5. Fill the box with stuff for their crafts of choice. 6. Throw in something EXTRA just because!

EXAMPLE --

If I answer my top 3 favorite crafts to do are 1. Knitting 2. Crocheting 3. Dollmaking AND I would like to get into 1. ATCs 2. Origami 3. Calligraphy. So my swap buddy could choose to send me a doll pattern, the required fabrics & notions AND a small book on origami & paper. As long as EVERYTHING fit in the wine bottle box. She adds a dragonfly magnet as my profile says I like them.

Let's say my buddy's answers were 1. ATCs. 2. Rubberstamping 3. Altered Art AND 1. Crocheting 2. Soap Making 3. Scrap booking. I might decide to fill her wine box with a selection of rubber stamps to match something she likes in her profile & ink pads AND a simple "Learn to Crochet" pattern booklet, hook & yarn for one of the patterns in the booklet.
