Holiday Ornament Swap

Mine well go on our Christmas tree. I like everything! Glittery is always nice, I tend to have a lot of red, green and gold on my tree, but I really do like everything.

Blackbird pie (springtime)~

We aren't religious but we put up a christmas tree and I also hang ornaments on our fireplace or on top of the window ledges so they hang down in front of the windows. I have been really partial to red and white lately and want to do some papercrafts with those colours this year. I'd love a christmas or winter holiday (i.e. mittens,skating,hot chocolate) theme ornament.

Flyingsolo (kia)~this is Kia - I love LOVE snowflakes, angels, blue, white, silver & gold for my decorations. Things go on the tree, on the walls, hung over the window rods so they are visible from outside -- I have a flurry of flakes I hang every year so half are seen in the room & half from outside the house. I also tend to keep all Masi items out all the time -- all year round - they find special places to live in so I can see them always!

Jupitermama~Hmmm. I like anything sparkly and shiny - icicles, snowflakes, balls... big fan of nature - winter types visuals - naked trees, snow, berry branches, snow, snowmen, fir trees, fuzzy scarves...you get the gist. I also like angels. Celebrate Christmas around here.... Mennelle

Monarda~We will be hanging it on our holiday tree. We are secular humanists so not into religious-themed ornaments. We tend towards a natural look but I love sparkle too....Whatever really!

john is okay with me putting up a 'holiday' tree, but out of respect to his jewishness we try to keep it all kinda white and sparkly, though not entirely.

however, jesus and angel stuff will get mocked outright around here!

ziasmama~I'll be hanging it on my tree, I guess I have a theme of white lights, nature themed (winter, snow, skis, sleds, fir trees, mini knit sweaters and a santa or two!) ornaments made of wood, felt, wool, in warm red, deep evergreen, and natural white colors. I like pinecones, swedish stars...god I sound picky! I'll be happy with whatever comes my way!

stellabella~I'll hang it where it seems appropriate. We celebrate the Solstice round here so there will be a small tree. I like to have ornaments in random places too though... What a fun project! Thanks Nessy for organizing!

dahlia~Most of our ornaments go on the tree. We have a pretty eclectic Christmas style. I mix antiques with modern pieces, tons of color and glitter and shine! We have a few stylized angels, we're not into the jeebus, but we do love multicultural icons and religious type items from non-christian religions. There are lots of handmade decorations around here, as well as things passed down from grandparents and family, and every year we buy at least one unique decoration.

brenda~I like surprises! We are not religious and usually don't have "themes".

ornaments are going on a small tree, so small that it would fall over it an ornament is too heavy. we love santa, angels are cool, anything really christmas-y is wonderful! no crosses though. if my partner makes stockings we have a new kitty that we might hang up a stocking for. any colors.

pelli~Yeah -- I guess I forgot to put anything in here. I have a tree every year and would love something from a mama to put on there. I'm excited about this. Colors and themes...I don't care.

For my partner, i just changed my address. It was 817 and now it is 804 E. Mitchell St. Just a heads up. Sometimes when packages are delivered across the street(at my old address) they don't give it to me. Nice. I know.

Whoa! I just came to check what the due date was and was surprised to see it is TODAY! For my partner, mine probably won't go out until after T-giving... sorry!

Oh, wait, today isn't the 29th... Wait, where am I... hello???
