NEWBIE ATC swap

This is an ATC swap for people new to Swap-Bot. (Not new to ATCs) I'll also allow people with somewhat poor ratings to join as a ratings booster. Anyone else can also join. Please PLEASE follow the rules precisely.

Make an ATC for your partner AFTER reading their profile. You do not have to make this profile based but avoid all DISLIKES. Otherwise any theme is fine. 2.5x3.5". Personally I like cards that add embellishments that exceed these parameters but if this is a dislike for your partner, please don't. If you are new ATCs but not new to papercrafting or mixed media, please join! You may make a hand-drawn or hand-painted ATC without embellishments or make a collaged card with at least 4 layers and/or embellies. You can also sew, bead, etc. Whatever you like.

If you are new to Swap-Bot, please make sure you have a well-filled out profile. I recommend at LEAST 4 solid paragraphs with: About Me, Crafts/Swaps (info related to the crafts or swaps you like or want to try), Likes and Dislikes. Look at the profiles of established crafters to see what they have written. Swap hosts are usually a good bet.

The more you share, the more likely that you will get art, swaps and extras you really like! And the easier it is for your partner to understand you if there is a personality conflict. Also, filling out your profile takes time and thought. By doing a thorough job, it helps you show your commitment to this hobby to any coordinator looking at your profile to accept you for their swap. They don't know you, can't see you or talk to you and can't ask questions. Your profile is the only way for them to know and trust you.

For those with poor ratings: I REQUIRE that you have a reasonable explanation for these ratings in the comments of that rating. I will accept multiple OLD 3 ratings if the explanation seems reasonable and you've tried to fix these ratings. I will accept 1s only if they are very recent and you haven't had time to fix it (perhaps your partner rated prematurely without allowing you to resend) or your partner has left Swap-Bot and they are old. Again, even if they are old, I expect the comments to reveal what happened. Please make sure the comments explain the situation clearly and avoid name calling or accusations. Just the facts.

• no pixelated computer printouts (good quality is fine), teacher/award stickers, anything dirty or nasty, made of food, seeds or plants (customs regs as this is international.)

• keep it neat and make it awesome. No sticker slapping and take time to make it special.
