Description:

I have so much fun stationary & cards that I never use. It's a shame to just have it all sit there & not be used, so I thought I would start writing some letters to friends about my favorite things, interesting topics & stuff that I am curious about. The problem is, nobody writes letters anymore, so most of the correspondence I sent either went unanswered or was answered by a phone call or email. That is why I decided to start doing a series of letter swaps.

It's fun to hear about other people & get a little glimpse into their lives. You can learn some amazing things & hear some fascinating stories.

For this swap you will write a letter about something that you collect. You can write about 1 or 2 of your collections or all of your collections...it's up to you. Do you have a stamp collection, toy collection, favorite animal or favorite character collection? Do you collect dolls, stuffed animals, clocks or washi tape? Then write your partner & tell them all about it.

I am not going to set a limit for the length of the letter. Hopefully, since you are joining a letter writing swap, writing a page or two won't be a problem, but if I hear that people are only writing a paragraph or a few sentences, they will be excluded from any of my future letter writing swaps.

I hope you have fun & thanks for joining my swap.

IF YOU HAVE ANY TOPICS/IDEAS FOR FUTURE LETTER WRITING SWAPS, PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE COMMENT SECTION BELOW. THANKS!!

RULES: NEWBIES WELCOME!! No recent or unexplained 1's or 3's. Must have a good swapping history, good attitude & a well filled out profile. I will be checking participants VERY THOROUGHLY before assigning partners. I reserve the right to ban anyone that I think will jeopardize the success of this swap. If you have a concern about someone who has signed up please let me know privately.

I have terrible handwriting and always type my letters. You don't say this must be handwritten so I will join. I love writing -- and receiving -- letters.

Letter writing ideas:

Talk about where you live! (Town/city/country...house/apt/cabin etc) Who do you live with?

Tell a story or two about something that made you smile this week...month.

places you have lived or how about vacations you've gone on.,. another idea would be about your bucket list. just a thought.
