SMSUSA: Cheerful Note & Blind Surprise

Hi swappers!

For this swap you'll have one partner and you'll be sending her a cheerful note and a 'blind' surprise!

What's a 'blind' surprise? Well . . . you'll select your flat-ish surprise BEFORE partners are assigned, seal it up, and mail it AFTER partners are assigned.

So . . .

• write a cheerful note about something in your life, or spring, or anything you might choose

• select a flat-ish surprise you're proud to send and would love to receive

• put both into an envelope, seal, and deco your envelope with washi, markers, etc.--anything you choose

• when partners are assigned, retrieve your partner's name, write it on the envelope, pop it in the mailbox, and VOILA! You're done with the swap!

Re surprises: try to select something 'conventionally' appreciated: unused postage, postcards, notecards/envies, stationery sets, handmade garland, washi tape, etc. Since you won't have a chance to read your partner's profile for guidance in selecting a surprise, use good judgment about what to send. The same goes for what you receive--don't rate harshly because you receive something that's not your favorite. This is a great group so I'm not really worried about it!
