Earth day recycle/upcycle post card - USA

Earth Day in the USA is this coming Sunday, April 22nd. For this swap, we will create a post card using recycled materials, write a message, stamp and send it.

Newbies will be allowed to join in this one! I'll give you a chance. :)

You can use cardboard (cereal boxes are great for this!) or cover an ugly or used post card, about 4x6 in size, so it can mail with a standard post card stamp. Cover the paper/card/cardboard with paper - it can be magazine pages, paper that is printed on one side, scrapbook scraps - it's up to you. Make sure one side of the card is blank so it can be addressed & written on, but the other side is up to you.

Decoration is up to you. Collage an image, re-use a book page, create a picture with washi samples, use images from old calendars, use water colors to paint a picture - really, it's up to you. Please be aware, though, that you may send out a work of art, and get a simple design in return

On the blank side, write the name of the swap, your swap-bot user ID, and a 'happy earth day' themed message on the left, and your partner's address on the right side, stamp it, and put it in the mail.

Be sure to secure your pictures on the card! Avoid embellishments that will fall off in the mail, and make sure all edges are secured to the card. Those mail sorting machines are brutal! Avoid covering the card with packing tape, but using a bit of tape to secure the edges is ok

Requirements 4.98 or above for established swappers. At least 2 type 2/3 completed, rated swaps for new swappers.
