Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends--All aboard!!

my son, owen, is three and this is for him. he would be thrilled to receive a gordon, toby, bertie bus, diesel, or mavis....or any of the cars such as the giggling troublesome trucks, the aquarium cars, or the musical caboose. he's got the other main characters already. i'm so excited! this should be fun!

:) @ SewManyLittleThings, my son is smitten with trains and especially Thomas and friends. There aren't many that my own son doesn't have... though we had a train table for Christmas made for him and he doesn't have many wooden ones. I'm so excited for him. we don't have the room (or the money) for a train table and all the accessories that are required to fill the tabletop! they have one at barnes and noble, so we go play with the train table there. owen just turned three at the end of november and we bought him a felt play mat that lays on the floor like a rug. i got it at target for about $15. i love it cause we can walk on it or just roll it up and put it away, and owen loves it cause it's thomas!

all the trains owen has are the wooden ones.

just a tip: most michaels craft stores carry thomas stuff: wooden trains, tracks, buildings, etc. and, most sunday papers have a michaels or jo-ann fabrics coupon for 40% off that you can use on the trains!! and, yes, i know i said jo-ann fabrics....they both take each others coupons!

My son (turning 2 on December 30th!) just got into Thomas, so we have nothing yet except for a couple dvd's that came with the wooden trains, that he's getting from Santa. ;-) He is getting a wooden train set for his birthday, though, so I'm sure he'll be excited to get anything Thomas-related! :-)

@SewManyLittleThings thanks for the information. That will come in handy. My mother had one made for Aiden and it actually looks as good or better than the ones in the store that are VERY expensive for only $70 for Christmas. :D I was thrilled for him. I even find myself giddy over trains for him because he loves them SO much. I'm so excited for this swap.

@bluemerleboutique my son is the same way. Anything train related or Thomas is dandy. We got a catalog that had lots of trains in it and he looked at it for hours. :D He's easy to please. Thanks for joining the swap and updating. :D I'm very excited.

I was just thinking, this is a great way for kids to make new friends or pen pals as well. :D
