MJS: Kitchen Magpies

For this swap you'll be on the hunt for magpie journal supplies found in your kitchen! You'll be sending your partner a parcel of at least 10 journal items found (or made from) things you found. Sometimes, the most beautiful paper images in our homes can be found in our kitchens.

Here are some ideas:

• pretty can labels

• pockets made from grocery bags

• flat refrigerator magnets

• tea bag pockets or little tea tags from the actual bag

• cuttings from cracker, cereal, cookie, etc. boxes

• refrigerator art

• chocolate bar wrappers

• something made from aluminum foil (punched items)

• a piece of a can you cut with tin snips (please sand the edges!)

• a decoupaged napkin onto paper

• a kitchen calendar page

These are just suggestions; any kitchen-themed item is acceptable--be creative! Sometimes there are really beautiful labels on the foods found in the international aisle at the grocery store.
