Blast From the Past: Scraplings!

For my Blast From the Past series, we will be visiting the distant, echoing past of the founders and officers, and re-running some real oldies!

This swap takes us to February of 2009, when @TC made scraplings. Yeah, I'd never heard of them, either, but they sound like fun.

Scraplings are skinny greeting cards with a finished size of 21/4" x 51/2". Please note: the beginning size of the card stock you will work with is double this size. They fit into a regular size envelope, or if you are feeling especially crafty, you may certainly make matching envelopes. Handmade envelopes are not required; you can send plain envelopes with them if you like.

You will make three cards for one partner. Please use heavy card stock, not regular paper or construction paper. You will decorate all three differently, and you may use layers of paper, fabric, washi tape, stamping, drawing, painting, or zentangling, whatever your talent is. Please, no stickers. Decorating and color choices are sender choice in this swap.

Don't forget: put your screen name and swap name on the sending envelope or on a separate piece of paper inside. Be sure to send on time, but most of all, have fun with these cute little cards!
