Mr. Rogers Postcard Swap

I find myself often asking, "What would Mr. Rogers do?" Seriously, I really do. He had a kindness and empathy for other people that I can only aspire to have and want that to guide me in all my decisions and interactions with others. I have a temper though, so I fail, constantly, but I do think that the journey of TRYING to behave that way is important.

That said, I would like to receive and send postcards that have to do with Mr. Rogers.

If you have something you associate with Mr. Rogers (hand puppets? trains? mail men?) that image is fine. If you have a postcard that actually is specific to Mr. Rogers, please do send that. If you do not have anything that relates, you are welcome to create a handmade postcard with something relating to the topic. (So, naturally, do not join unless you are OK with the possibility of getting a handmade card. Also, I will be leaving this as a type 2 because the handmade element is optional and note a requirement, so if you're not OK with that, then please do not join this swap.)

If you intend to purchase a card (for example, a beautifully made Zazzle, RedBubble, etsy, or other shop), it would be a good idea to do this prior to the swap being assigned. If you do this and are not in the swap for whatever reason, please let me know and I will consider a private swap.

On the flip side of the postcard, please write something about Mr. Rogers. How did he affect you? What does he and his legacy mean to you? Have you read any books about his life? Or, find a quote that resonates with you that Mr. Rogers said and write it on the card.

This swap will be international.
I will vet this swap thoroughly. Anyone with unresolved 1s or 3s need not join. Any swappers I deem risky may be prevented from swapping.

I will angel this swap should I need to, but only after attempts at working out the problem and an appropriate rating if those attempts have failed.
