Description:

I love cooking magazines and whenever I get one for free, I take it home with me. However, I usually try no more than maybe three or five of the recipes. So, I have a lot of magazines lying around that I don't know what to do with, but they are too pretty to throw away. So I thought I'd use them for a swap.

For this swap, you will use your cooking magazines (and/or cooking books, if you don't need them anymore) to make some paper crafts for your partner. You should make at least 3 little somethings for your partner. Here are some ideas of what you could send:

  • a bookmark
  • a bunch of pretty cut outs that your partner can use for journaling or snail mail
  • a set of mini envelopes
  • turn some cutouts into stickers
  • a recipe that you like
  • anything else you can think of

All of the things you send should either be made out of a cooking magazine or at least be decorated with cut outs from it. The same rule applies for the envelope you use to send the swap.

This swap is basically sender's choice, but please check your partner's profile for dislikes. You wouldn't want to send them pictures of some food they hate or are allergic to.

The rating requirement for this swap is 4.90, but unrated swappers are allowed if they have a well filled out profile. I will angel if necessary, but, needless to say, please be nice and send out your swaps. :)

If you have any questions or problems, message me.

Is it okay to use a recipe calendar? Can you use more than one magazine? Can it be a combination of a magazine, cookbook, calendar (anything with cooking and glossy paper?)....

Yes, yes and yes. :) And the paper doesn't necessarily have to be glossy, I have lots of magazines with normal, thin paper.
