STATE THEMED POCKET LETTER<< This is a pocket letter swap if you don't know what those are or if you have never made one, please do not sign up for this swap. This swap is NOT for newbies. Seasoned pocket letter makers ONLY! The theme for this pocket letter is your home state. Because it is a state theme it is USA only. You are not required to add things to the back of the pockets but it does make for a nice surprise. The only requirement other than the theme is that you must include a letter in one of the pockets. Who knows maybe you'll get a new penpal from this swap! When you send, you must send with tracking! I cannot angel for people as this is a rather time intensive swap so PLEASE only participate if you are sure that you can follow through. No one wants to receive nothing and you don't want the bad rating! I will check profiles. You must have at least a 4.0 rating and no recent bad ratings and have participated in at least one other pocket letter swap. Remember, this is not for NEWBIES. Seasoned pocket letter makers only! If you have created pocket letters before but this is your first swap, message me and let me know.

Oh wow. I would LOVE to see the results of these when this closes, if anybody feels like doing me a kindness and posting them somewhere accessible. I can’t participate but I’m certainly intrigued by the challenge!

@splendorpursuit is it because of the requirements or you just can't participate? If you are interested and you are sure you will send you can totally sign up :) I just don't want someone who's never done one to decide they don't like making them and not send their partner anything you know?

@tattoolove90 no, it’s because I honestly can’t think of how to decorate 9 pockets for my state (CA) without simply filling it with cheesy postcards and maps, and that is so NOT my style. So, I’d love to cheat by seeing what you folks get up to and then the next time you do it I’ll totally sneak in, post education. ;)

Oh and I totally love them, @tattoolove90 My Instagram name is splendorpursuit if you want to check out the one I did for an autumn theme last month. It turned out great - hence my hesitation on one that is so...ephemeral in nature. Like, do I choose the Japanese Gardens and Burney Falls? How do I decorate that? See? I’m already stressed and I haven’t even signed up! LOL I’m a bit of a perfectionist, does it show??
