For the Halloween version of this swap, click here.

Don't you just love getting home and finding awesome and colorful mail in your mailbox? If you do, then this is the swap for you.

This is a low cost swap, and I'm hosting it on a monthly basis.

The requirements are:

Send a super cute envelope, using any medium you want, stickers, washi tape, rubber stamps, anything, just make sure it looks super cute. No sticker slapping, this is a mail art swap, you have to put your heart into it. There's no need to be extra talented, but you need to do your best to make your partner happy.

Look through your stash and include the following flat items:

  • 1 sticker sheet
  • 5 washi tape samples (12 inch/30 centimeters each)
  • 1 postcard
  • 1 teabag
  • 3 items of your choice, store-bought or handmade. Some ideas: bookmarks, tags, die cuts, stationery, ATCs, blank notecards, handmade envelopes, confetti, postage stamps, ephemera, smash bits, project life cards, the list is endless. Please also include a nice note for your partner in pretty stationery and don't forget to include your username and swap name.

This is a sender's choice swap, so you can get started on your swap as soon as you want. It's always nice to check your partner's profile, but ultimately this is sender's choice, so if you receive something you don't like, you can send it in another round of these swaps or any other swap.

The total weight of your envie should be no more than 40-50 grams, so that neither of us spends too much on postage. Use postage stamps if possible.

Requirements: People with a 4.98 rating and a minimum of 40 rated type 2 and 3 swaps (rated, not just sent). You must have been a Swap-bot member for the past 6 months and have been online at least 2 days before partners are assigned. No recent or unexplained 1's or 3's. I reserve the right to ban swappers as I see fit.

Please rate your partner promptly and if there's any issues with your outgoing/incoming mail, get in touch with your partner (and me if needed). Remember communication is key.

I will angel this swap in case someone flakes, but I'll make sure to remove all questionable swappers and make this swap as safe as possible.

If you have any questions, suggestions or doubts, please don't hesitate to contact me or add a comment below.

Remember you can use #happymailyay on social media to share your Happy Mail, Yay! pics.

Happy swapping everyone!

Wow. Those minimum requirements are pretty steep but a type 2. Is this normal?

splendorpursuit 08/23/2018 #

^^ but = for. Stupid fingers. lol

milamilamura 08/23/2018 #

Hi @splendorpursuit I guess it's not normal to be a careful host, especially when it comes to public swaps, most hosts might let anyone in, I personally want to narrow my chances as much as I can, and these requirements have really worked out in keeping my swaps safe. Best!

I would like to join, but I'm a newcomer

milamilamura 09/ 2/2018 #

I'm hosting these swaps on a monthly basis, so feel free to join once you meet the requirements!

Why was I banned from this swap. There was no explanation given.

milamilamura 09/ 4/2018 #

@Uplandcin I banned you because you had joined one of my swaps a while ago. Back then I banned you because you had a late swap on your dashboard and I said I was sorry for having to ban you but rules are rules and you had a real bad attitude towards the whole thing, blaming me for not contacting you to ask what happened with that late swap, when it's actually the swapper's responsibility to contact their hosts to let them know about late swaps.

I banned you a second time a while ago and told you I didn't like your attitude last time and I didn't want to have to deal with it. Now you've joined my swap for the third time but I've explained in the past why I don't want you in my swaps, so I honestly didn't feel like explaining it again. Hope you understand, have a good day.

Uplandcin 09/ 4/2018 #

I explained myself quite clearly to you at the time. Be that as it may, you really need to get over things. One slight slip up and you are so unforgiving. I don't want to be in your swap. Hope you find some happiness.

milamilamura 09/ 4/2018 #

Oh but I am happy! So happy I don't want to ruin it by having to deal with your attitude. Look, the problem is not that you had a late swap, it was that despite I had to ban you and had the courtesy to give you the benefit of the doubt and told you I hoped you were ok and could sort things out (and join next round if you did), you snapped at me for not being kind enough to contact you to see what was going on, which is not my job.

Now, I'm only saying you had an attitude and I didn't like it and that's it, I never said you were probably sad and that's why you replied to me the way you did, so I do not appreciate your last comment, because it's uncalled for. Anyway, best of luck to you.

Wish I could join this swap!

milamilamura 09/ 5/2018 #

@Wildspoon28 I'm hosting these swaps every single month, so feel free to join once you meet the requirements :)

Hi everyone!! I had a household emergency and couldn't post a swap that was due today, and I'll be taking it to the PO this Saturday morning. Therefore, I've decided I won't be assigning partners tomorrow. I'll be doing so after I've sent my late swap, so if you could please wait until Saturday noon, that would be great. Thanks for understanding.
