CPG Move Your Deco Bks - US Only

This looks fun. I looked up what a deco book was in the swap-bot blog glossary. I can make a book to start. What is the usually size? Etc. Also, what is a homer?

Hey @SeleneW deco books are so much fun. A homer is a book that only has one page left to be worked and then will be sent home to the person it was made for.

Size can vary a lot. Books that will fit in a standard envelope (letter or notecard sized) move a lot faster. I have 2 that are a full sheet of paper folded in half that I have had for months as mailing them gets much more expensive. If you are making a new one, room for about 4-6 people to work a page is usually good if you want to get your books back.

Thank you @ChrisAnne and @OrigamiGrace both of you helped a great deal. I think I will hand make a reinforced spine sewn signature book with 6 inner pages not counting the cover in a 4 x 6 inch size.

Something else I read is typically the final return address goes on the back cover. Original maker should decorate covers but I am not sure if that is outside only. I do think it would make sense to leave room on the inner covers for people to perhaps make a note for each artistic page done.

Hoping I am on the right track here. It sounds fun.
