For this tutorial we'll be following Nik the Booksmith's tutorial which can be found HERE

We'll be making one change to the tutorial; Nik creates a spread of 3 pages. We'll be creating ONLY ONE PAGE (front and back) by using 2 sheets of paper. Simply cut whichever shape you choose (circle, square, rectangle, organic) out of the TOP SHEET of paper; affix the acetate over your cut-out shape on the BACK of that sheet, add your image, glue the second sheet to create a pocket as shown in the tutorial. Basically, two sheets will become one journal page with a pocket. Hope this makes sense!

Nik's example is beautiful using very muted colors. You may choose to go with brighter colors, patterned paper, etc. . . whatever appeals to you. Use a poem or a sentiment--whatever you like. Hand draw around your shape or use punchies; make it your own.

Your finished page should measure 5"x7". Please write your user id and swap name on the back of your AJP.
