YTPC: Art Journal Page #15: Text Hearts

Let's do another 5" x 7" art journal page together. The tutorial for this one can be found HERE

Please begin with a sturdy base and use Inktense blocks (as the tutor does) or any other watercolor-y supplies you have on hand.

This is the second tutorial by Amber K that we've followed and she seems to like leaving a lot of negative space in her creations. I plan to cover most of my page with color; feel free to replicate her technique exactly or do what comes more naturally to you.

Let's all agree to include:

• a watercolor-ish background
• text hearts
• paint splatter
• a sentiment

I get a lot of questions about whether your creation should look just like the tutor's creation. The simple answer is . . . no ;+) Use the tutorial as a jumping-off point to inspire your creativity while including the 'required' elements.
